Jackson Family Wines' 5-Part Virtual Series: Masterclass #3: Regenerative Agriculture
Tuesday, October 5, 2021
- Tuesday, October 5, 2021
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
The land is our home as well as the source of our business. Genuine sustainability depends on healthy ecosystems, biodiversity, and soil health, as well as preserving our natural habitats. It’s a long-term plan to ensure health as well as livelihood for future generations. And it improves the quality of the wine in the bottle.
In this session we will discuss soil ecology, the relationship between vines and their environment, and landmark efforts in regenerative farming by bringing together viticultural innovators, researchers in soil health, and wine industry experts.
Moderated by Elaine Chukan Brown, 2020 Wine Communicator of the Year, Writer, Speaker, & Educator
- Shaun Kajiwara, Director of Farming, Jackson Family Wines
- Cristina Lazcano, PhD, Assistant Professor of Soil Ecology, UC Davis
