Ever wonder how much it costs to implement a new sustainable practice or how to calculate your Return on Investment?
The California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance worked with ag economists to develop new tools to help users evaluate the costs and benefits of practices to help guide decisions about potential management changes. Tools Include: Vineyard Sustainable Water Management, Trunk Disease Management, Sprayer Decision Tools, Dust Mitigation Methods Comparison Tool, Winery Water Use, Winery Solid Waste Audits, and Certification Cost/Benefit Evaluation Tool.
Sustainable winegrowing best practices for vineyard water efficiency and a case study on Chamisal Vineyard’s sustainability initiatives will also be covered. Come learn about these new tools and the associated resources to better understand the economics of sustainable practices adoption.
